\u201cGive is this day, our Daily Bread\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Heavenly Father, as Jesus taught us to pray:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGive is this day, our Daily Bread\u201d<\/em><\/strong>
(Mat 6:11, Luke 11:3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your Word is that Daily Bread to feed us, just like You fed miraculous Manna from Heaven to the Israelites (Deu 8:2-3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You have given us Your Holy Word, the Bible. It is NOT like any other book! No way! It is a Living Book that SPEAKS new stuff to us every time we open it! No other book does that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen thou goest, it shall lead thee;
when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee;
and when thou awakest,
it shall talk with thee.
For the commandment is a lamp;
and the law is light;
and reproofs of instruction
are the way of life\u201d (Pro 6:22-23).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your wonderful Word leads us, feeds us, nourishes us, and breathes fresh faith into our heart and mind:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God\u201d (Rom 10:17).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And most precious of all, Your Word helps us to know You, to trust You, and especially to love You more and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holy Spirit, inspire me to read God\u2019s Word every day whether I am busy with work, chores, schoolwork, play, or whatever it may be. Teach me to make time to read, study, and memorize Your Word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So please, Father, evermore \u201cGive us this day our Daily Bread\u201d!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is the Spirit who gives LIFE; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are LIFE\u2026
But Simon Peter answered Him,
\u2018Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the WORDS of ETERNAL LIFE\u2019\u201d
(John 6:63,68).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHolding fast the WORD of LIFE, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain\u201d (Phi 2:16).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
