This is my personal goal, but I also pray that throughout my short journey in this world, You would use me to inspire a deepening love for You and Your Word in others including all those in my own household as it says in this same passage:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;<strong>And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children,<br>and shalt talk of them<br>when thou sittest in thine house,<br>and when thou walkest by the way,<br>and when thou liest down,<br>and when thou risest up<\/strong>.&#8221;<br>\u2013 Deuteronomy 6:7<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Lord, Your Words are <em>\u201cSpirit and Life\u201d (John 6:63)<\/em>. It is called the <em>\u201cWord of Grace\u201d (Acts 20:32)<\/em>. Every command in Your Word comes wrapped up in Your Grace \u2013 the supernatural power that unpacks itself within me when I receive Your Word and mix it with faith (1 Thess 2:13; Heb 4:1). Every command and promise in Your Word is exactly like a seed containing all the DNA and power required to fulfill itself within me:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Luke 1:37 (Amplified)<br>For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Isaiah 55:11<br>So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;<br>It shall not return to Me void,<br>But it shall <strong>accomplish<\/strong> what I please,<br>And it shall <strong>prosper<\/strong> in the thing for which I sent it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This commandment to love You and Your Word is exactly like a seed bundled up with all the necessary supernatural DNA to \u201caccomplish,\u201d \u201cprosper,\u201d and empower me with grace to live it out in loving obedience. I believe it and I receive it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Great Commandment in Deuteronomy also tells me:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;<strong>And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.&#8221;<\/strong><br>\u2013 <strong>Deuteronomy 6:8-9<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus, this command of \u201cbinding\u201d and \u201cwriting\u201d is exactly what the New Covenant, enacted through Your own Blood, promises to do. It states that Holy Spirit came to dwell within me (at the baptism in the Holy Spirit) with an expedient mission to \u201cbind\u201d and \u201cwrite\u201d and deeply engrave Your Word upon my heart and mind (Jer 31:31-34; Heb 8:10; Heb 8:16) as well as upon my \u201chand,\u201d my \u201cdoorposts\u201d and my \u201cgates.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dear Jesus, You are the Word of Life! Like John, I want to hear, see, and touch You (1 John 1:1-3)! By Your incarnation, You became the Word made flesh (John 1:1-14). I long for Your Word to be \u201cmade flesh\u201d in me so that I might <em>\u201chold forth the Word of Life\u201d<\/em> (Phil 2:16) not only with my mouth, but also with all my life\u2019s actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank You, dear Lord, for all that You promised to do in my life through Your Word and Your Spirit! Holy Spirit, You promised to pour out God\u2019s love within my heart (Rom 5:5), so I\u2019m sure I will not be disappointed in my request to love God more and more! Please do not ever leave me alone until You are finally finished with all You want to do in me.
