Everything God does within us is all been fully provided for by Christ&#8217;s redemptive work on the Cross. Our God is fully confident that He will finish that work as long as we give Him full rights and permission to do it all in His way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.<\/p><cite>Philippians 1:6 (NKJV)<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>In Psalms, there is a wonderful verse that contains both a promise and a prayer to see that promise fulfilled in our lives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;<br>Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;<br>Do not forsake the works of Your hands.<\/p><cite>Psalms 138:8<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>There are three parts to this verse:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Confession:<\/strong> Faith comes from hearing and speaking out God\u2019s Promises (see also 2 Cor 1:20):<br><em>\u00a0\u201cThe Lord will perfect that which concerns me\u2026.<\/em>\u201d<\/li><li><strong>Confidence:<\/strong>\u00a0 We have great assurance, knowing God&#8217;s patience, mercy, and His amazing covenant love. He is a faithful Promiser (see 1 Peter 4:19.):<br>\u201c&#8230;Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever\u2026.<em>\u201d<\/em><\/li><li><strong>Consecration:<\/strong> Surrendered to God\u2019s work and yielded to God\u2019s ways, praying, \u201cDon&#8217;t ever stop working in my life to perfect your work. Don&#8217;t spare for my crying!\u201d (see also Jeremiah 10:23-24; Heb 12:5-11):<br>\u201c&#8230;Do not forsake the works of Your hands.\u201d<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>See how Paul prays for the Thessalonians:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.<br>He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.<\/p><cite>1 Thessalonians 5:23-24<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Dear Heavenly Father,<br>I long to be a trophy of what the riches of Your love and grace, mercy, and kindness accomplished in me! My greatest reward is to bring You glory for all of eternity!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Jesus\u2019 Name.
