My Heavenly Father sings songs over me! <\/h1>\n\n\n\n

When our six children were younger, my wife and I sang little songs to lull them to sleep. We spent hundreds of hours singing songs \u2013 I even wrote a few special choruses just for our kids during those nights. The precious thing about singing to them night after night was that our bond of love and delight toward them deepened more and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Scriptures also describe our heavenly Father singing songs to His children just as my wife and I sang over our children. Zephaniah concludes his prophecy with an image of the heavenly Father singing songs of love and joy over His people:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zephaniah 3:17 (KJV)\nThe Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;\nHe will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy;\nHe will rest in his love, He will joy over thee with singing.<\/pre>\n\n\n
