The purpose of this blog is to establish a growing list of prayers that utilize the promises of God in a way that inspires prayer in every situation in which we may find ourselves, and that those prayers would be effectual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are two key verses about the promises of God:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Peter 1:4
By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature...<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
2 Corinthians 1:20
For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n

Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892)<\/em> said:
The best praying man is the man who is most believingly familiar with the promises of God. After all, prayer is nothing but taking God\u2019s promises to Him and saying to Him, \u201cDo as Thou hast said.\u201d Prayer is the promise utilized. A prayer that is not based on a promise has no true foundation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892)<\/em> dijo:
“El mejor hombre de oraci\u00f3n es el hombre que est\u00e1 m\u00e1s familiarizado en fe con las promesas de Dios. This passage in Hebrews tells us that, by the Blood of Jesus, we have boldness to enter into the Most Holy Place of the “True Tabernacle which the Lord pitched, not man” (Heb 8:2)<\/em>. It also shows us that that is where we are to profess (or confess) and pray the promises of God \u2013 “hold fast the [confession] of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hebrews 10:19-23<\/strong>
Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,
By a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 
And having a High Priest over the house of God,
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope<\/strong> without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.<\/strong><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Este pasaje en Hebreos nos dice que, por la Sangre de Jes\u00fas, tenemos confianza para entrar en el Lugar Sant\u00edsimo del “verdadero tabern\u00e1culo que levant\u00f3 el Se\u00f1or, y no el hombre” (Heb 8:2)<\/em>. Tambi\u00e9n nos muestra que ah\u00ed es donde debemos profesar (o confesar) y orar las promesas de Dios: “sin fluctuar, la profesi\u00f3n [confesi\u00f3n] de nuestra esperanza, porque fiel es el que prometi\u00f3<\/em>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
