This just happens to be my favorite verse concerning ministry and God\u2019s call on my life.<br \/>\n<strong>Call, Purpose, Grace. <\/strong>It is truly incredible to see how that, in Christ Jesus, EVERYTHING was already PRE-Planned and PRE-Provided for by God before the world began. He had me in mind before He even created Adam and Eve. Not only did He have me in mind, but He had a Call, a Purpose, and ALSO a package of Grace (with my name on it) which is abundantly sufficient for me to fully and faithfully fulfill that Purpose and obey that Call. How awesome is that! And then He wants to reward us for being faithful (Rev 2:10)?!? No wonder Revelation 4:10-11 shows that those rewarded in heaven <em>\u201ccast their crowns before the throne.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>God the Great Scheduler!<\/strong> I truly appreciate people, like my wife, who have the ability to plan things out ahead of time on a calendar. Some people have whole years of their life all scheduled out in advance! But think how awesome God is! He has had all of our lives scheduled out in His Heavenly \u201cDay-Planner\u201d COMPLETELY in Christ Jesus before we were ever born \u2013 and His calendar for each of us not only contains the PLAN, the CALL, and the PURPOSE; but also the perfect supply of GRACE for each moment!<br \/>\nOh, how wonderful it is to be a child of God \u2013\u00a0knowing that I am <em>\u201ccalled according to His purpose\u201d<\/em> (Rom 8:28) \u2013 knowing Him who first knew me! Knowing Him <em>\u201cwhom I have believed\u201d<\/em> and being fully <em>\u201cpersuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him\u201d<\/em> (2 Tim 1:12). Knowing that \u2013 in spite of how things may seem \u2013 today\u2019s agenda\u00a0inscribed in God\u2019s Planner really is going to be A-Okay!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our family memory verse for today (Feb 1, 2013) is 2 Timothy\u00a01:9.
