Step Into the Next Beautiful Season

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven…He has made everything beautiful in its time” (Ecclesiastes 3:1…11)

Recently, my wife’s mother (Teresa Anta) just transitioned from earth to her heavenly home. Teresa is now rejoicing and dancing in heaven with Jesus! She is now more alive than those of us left here below! My wife, Marietta, had the blessing of being with her mother until her very last breath. Marietta was blessed to be able to spend those precious moments praying, reading the Word, singing hymns, and worshipping God with her mom. It was a God-given opportunity. What a privilege! We are indeed thankful for all the prayer and support during this time of grief. Many tears were shed, but God’s comfort has been abundant (2 Cor 1:3).
Life is full of changing seasons. God wisely designed it that way. It’s the law of the harvest. Listen to how Isaiah describes it:

Listen and hear my voice; pay attention and hear what I say. When a farmer plows for planting, does he plow continually? Does he keep on breaking up and working the soil? When he has leveled the surface, does he not sow caraway and scatter cumin? Does he not plant wheat in its place, barley in its plot, and spelt in its field?
His God instructs him and teaches him the right way.
Caraway is not threshed with a sledge, nor is the wheel of a cart rolled over cumin; caraway is beaten out with a rod, and cumin with a stick. Grain must be ground to make bread; so one does not go on threshing it forever. The wheels of a threshing cart may be rolled over it, but one does not use horses to grind grain.
All this also comes from the Lord Almighty, whose plan is wonderful, whose wisdom is magnificent.
(Isaiah 28:23-29 NIV)

Whatever season stretches before you, step out and into it by faith – trusting and obeying – leaning upon the arms of Jesus (He’s already been there!) and watch God make your season beautiful. And, oh, how wonderful that final and most blessed season of life will be for the born again child of God when he is called to appear before the King!

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words” (1 Thess 4:16-18).
